A little bit about me..

I’m Talisa, an Internationally Board Certified Lactation Consultant, NICU Registered Nurse, proud Aboriginal woman and mother of four. I am passionate about helping families feel confident, supported, and empowered in feeding their babies, however that looks for you.

With a background in supporting mothers and babies in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), I’ve had the privilege of helping families navigate some of the most delicate and emotional moments of their breastfeeding journey. From expressing for premature or unwell babies to establishing feeding at the breast when baby is ready, I understand the unique challenges and triumphs that come with a NICU experience. I also bring lived experience of breastfeeding my own children for over 10 years through the newborn days, toddlerhood, tandem feeding and everything in between. This combination of professional knowledge and personal insight allows me to offer compassionate, practical support that’s grounded in both clinical expertise and understanding.

Every family’s journey is unique, and there’s no one size fits all approach when it comes to feeding your baby.

I offer compassionate, evidence-based care tailored to your needs and goals, free of judgment and full of support. This is a safe and inclusive space for all parents and caregivers.

You’re not alone, and you don’t have to figure it all out by yourself. Let’s walk this path together.
